Queue rows, decision records, traces, chart annotation and a chart palette: the things buyers ask to inspect, drawn once and reused on the site, in decks and in handover packs.

01Principles
Show the record, not a claim about it. Each component is a real shape of the work: what came in, what was decided, by which rule, and who is accountable.
People trace a decision; the system records it. Labels say "Trace" and "Every step is kept".
Example data, labelled. Example Co. (dealer network and stores) and Example Shire (council). No client data, ever.
Forest stays scarce. The owned marker, the primary action and one focal series. Status uses the info, warning and danger tokens.
Records arrive whole. A fade at most; nothing counts up.

Use
Focal
--chart-c2
#2A7048 · #6CC48A
The one owned or decision value. Once per chart, and it counts toward the three Forest uses.
Series 1
--chart-c1
#0F1A14 · #E8E4D6
The main comparison series.
Series 2
--chart-c3
#2E3A33 · #BDB9AB
A second series. Label it directly.
Context
--chart-c4
#D8D4C5 · #2A3430
Bars that set context, the remainder.
Reference
--chart-c-expected
#62695F · #868F87
Baselines and expected values, dashed.
Status chips use the info, warning and danger tokens. They never use Forest, because Forest already means owned or do this.
03K-01 Queue row
ID, type and site, waiting time, route and status. The selected row gets an ink edge. On phones the row keeps type, site and status.

04K-02 Decision record
The record a buyer asks to see: the decision, the logic and its version, the data used, the result, why it was flagged and who is accountable. The owned marker sits on the logic, because the logic is what the client keeps.
Decision recordExample data
Decision record · DR-0142Needs review
Route EQ-2290 to East branch sales. The stock list is 39 minutes old.
Decision
Which team answers a new-vehicle enquiry

Why flagged
Rule 7 needs stock data under 30 minutes old
Accountable
Sales Manager, East branch
Trace
Enquiry received from the website form
Rule 7 matched: model in stock at the nearest site
Stock check: two in stock at the East branch
Held for a person: stock list older than 30 minutes
Every step is kept
Forest: the owned marker and the primary action. With the header slash, three in this viewport.
05K-03 Trace
Timestamped steps in time order, oldest first, 24-hour time in mono.
Hollow markers for done steps; the current step is filled ink. Never Forest.
One line per step, written as what happened: "Rule 7 matched", not "Matching rules".
The trace is never edited. A correction is a new step.

06K-04 Annotation
Annotations mark an event on a chart: a dashed ink line and a mono note, one line, set inside the plot. No arrows, no callout boxes, no colour.
