1.013 Oct 2026Kit added. A new Kit group in the left navigation with eight pages: Figures and tables, Evidence kit, Handover documents (8 PDFs), Case studies, Voice examples, Deck family (commercial, retail and council starters), Social and newsletter (PNGs at real sizes) and Photography brief (the shoot is pending Wes). All 41 Content Editor copy fixes applied; voice examples signed off. Tokens: --fs-figure-title 21px, --fs-caption-fig 13px, --fs-stat 40px and --table-rule-total 1.5px added to tokens.json. Status tags: per-page Draft and Needs input tags removed; v1.0 approval covers them. Offer wording: remaining POC wording in the book and the sample deck now reads “One decision, tested in 30 days.” or “30-day proof”.Wes Fischer (13 Oct 2026, 2:24 pm)
1.013 Oct 2026Version 1.0, locked. Navigation: a left navigation rail on desktop and a mobile menu (drawer) on small screens. Old app product name: references carried over from the old live app (a product NTWRK no longer offers) are retired from the book. Social: the OG card carries the tagline only. Links: link arrows take the text colour of their link and are never Forest. Iconography: only the approved set of nine icons is used. Content Editor copy fixes (41): on Messaging, the current offer reads “One decision, tested in 30 days.” and the POC wording is retired; fixes also land on Iconography and Social. Colour: the Forest rule (Creative ruling, 8 Oct 2026) is part of v1.0. The header, footer, tokens and downloads now read 1.0.Wes Fischer (13 Oct 2026)
1.1.4-draft8 Oct 2026Follows the locked voice.md (Content Editor, 8 Oct 2026, 3:00 pm AEDT). Messaging: the action level and the CTA vocabulary use “Book a call”, the one primary CTA wording; “Scope the 30-day POC” is retired as a CTA; the hero worked example is the live R5 Home hero (8 Oct 2026); the CTA lead-in is shown only as a PENDING Wes slot. Tone and voice: Words we use rebuilt word for word from voice.md (How we work, Book a call, the pending CTA lead-in, the four owned items in logic-first order, trace wording, each decision, the kitchen labels with bronze, silver and gold as small tags, Trading Manager); three new Avoid items (“explain” for a system’s decisions, storage vendor names, the retired CTA); house rules 11 to 15 added; “program” settled; the currency row drops its dollar-figure sample for an Illustrative count, beside house rule 12; the site row of the surface table and the pre-publish check updated; the July Home privacy line points to the corrected form. Components: the large primary button reads Book a call; the CTA lead-in is flagged PENDING Wes and left out of the examples. Presentations: the deck close slide reads Book a call and leaves the CTA lead-in out (speaker note: PENDING Wes). Website: the footer legal line rises from 11px to the 12px label token (--fs-label). Documents: the cover legal line rises from 10px to --fs-label. Tone, house rule 15: the on-hold figures are not shown in this public book; they are listed in the internal voice.md. Tools: make_logo.py no longer writes the archived 700-weight wordmarks. Naming and open decisions: the nav label is settled as How we work (/how-we-work/). Presentations: the features table column “How it works” now reads “What it does”. Colour (Creative ruling, 8 Oct 2026): the primary action counts as one Forest use per viewport however many times it appears (a header button and a hero button are one use); link arrows inherit the link colour and are never Forest; labels and headings are never Forest text (ink or mute). Stated on Colour, Principles and Components; the book’s own CSS follows it (link and card arrows inherit, Forest label text, Do labels, rule numbers and the Approved badge text move to mute or ink; the Client reports chart-values link is ink). Header version 1.1.4 draft · 8 Oct 2026.Source: voice.md locked state (8 Oct 2026, 3:00 pm AEDT). Book pages: pending Wes Fischer
1.1.3-draft8 Oct 2026Outside-C12 fixes. Creative clarification (8 Oct): markers in a single owned list count as one Forest use; at most three Forest uses per viewport otherwise (Colour rules). Presentations: the offer slide drops the fee placeholder for the bound line “Pricing is set in the proposal after scoping.” (fees are proposal only); the deck tests now fail on any dollar sign on a slide or in the notes; the big number is now a neutral illustrative 50% of 160, tagged Illustrative, and the chart sample no longer repeats it. Diagrams: the owned-vs-rented example is rebuilt logic-first (What you own, from the live Home panel, beside “Renting the part that decides” with its four faces). Website: the header reads 01 Work, 02 How we work, 03 For Leaders, 04 Build to Keep with Book a call; the hero is a live R5 capture (1440, light, 8 Oct); section rhythm matches live Home. “Method” labels replaced with “How we work” (Components, Messaging, Naming, open decisions); Components close band matches live Home (Book a call, Read the field notes). Naming: the client names rule is reworded to drop a banned word. Header version 1.1.3 draft · 8 Oct 2026.
1.1.3-draft8 Oct 2026Thesis audit C12, done. Presentations: the Comparison layout (sample deck slide 06, l-compare) is rebuilt on the live Home “What you own” panel from PR #138 (merged efa4931, live 8 Oct 2026). What you own now leads at 8 columns in a solid ink frame: Decision logic, Data record, Workflow, Documentation, with the live lines; Forest marks the owned markers only; “Runs in: Your environment · Your cloud · Hosted by NTWRK if needed” and “Rights and dependencies documented” sit in a lower-weight footer. The other side, at 4 columns in a dashed mute frame, is “Renting the part that decides” with the four faces of the approved enemy line. Retired from the slide: “Owned or rented”, “Same parts. Who can open them?”, Your environment versus Rented account, Record / Model / Agents / Workflows, “You can change” / “Supplier holds”, “The logic stays in the supplier’s platform.” and the Forest frame. Template, zip, slide previews and this book regenerated.Rebuild: Wes Fischer (sign-off A11, 8 Oct 2026). Slide layout and headline: pending Wes Fischer
1.1.2-draft8 Oct 2026Thesis audit (“Own the layer that decides.”) C10 to C12. Story: the enemy line is now “The enemy is renting the part that decides, in four faces: platforms that keep your decision logic; AI seats that leave nothing behind; pilots that stop before production; consultants who leave decks.” Tone: “The intelligence you rent was never yours to keep.” moved from “worth bringing back” to “Don’t revive”. Components: the pull-quote example uses the tagline in place of the retired line. Deck template slide 06 (owned or rented) was pending PR #138; rebuilt in 1.1.3-draft.Wes Fischer (8 Oct 2026, 1:23 pm)
1.1.1-draft6 Oct 2026Review package refresh for Wes sign-off: open decisions table completed, colour contrast badge cleared (AA pairings pass), motion and iconography pages thickened, accessibility and documents pages expanded, email signature HTML added to Downloads, token path corrected to shared/tokens/, brand-site-spec and STATUS.md written as Site Dev handoff.Pending: Wes Fischer
1.1.0-draft5 Oct 2026Adds Presentations: slide tokens (the slide group in tokens.json), 13 slide layouts, and the HTML deck template with its download and live sample. Decided 5 Oct 2026: the HTML deck template is the house format for NTWRK presentations. It covers presenter view (synced second window with next slide, notes, timer and clock), build steps (data-step), slide overview, deep links per slide and step, black and white screen, clicker and swipe support, laser pointer, focusable chart values with tooltips, and a 32px shortcut bar that stays hidden from the audience unless called up (always on in the presenter view). The progress line shows only in the presenter view or with ?progress. 150ms fade, none under reduced motion. PDF export stays one slide per page, in the final build state. The slide preview moves from Documents to Presentations. Still open on Presentations: fees on slides, dark slides for title and close only.Deck template: Wes Fischer. Rest of the book: pending
