The NTWRK brand book

Every NTWRK brand decision in one place, with examples. People and agents use this book as the single reference before they write, design or build anything with the NTWRK name on it.

01How to use this book

Each page states a rule, shows it working on a real NTWRK surface, and links to the token or file behind it. Every page is approved as of version 1.0 (Wes Fischer, 13 Oct 2026).

The brand itself is not changing. This book writes down what ntwrk.com.au already does, plus the redesign decisions approved on 5 October 2026.

02For agents

When rules conflict, use this order of precedence:

  1. Brand canon v2 (ntwrk-brand-custodian, 15 Jul 2026): what is true about NTWRK, the voice, the hard rules.
  2. This brand book: how the canon looks and reads on every surface.
  3. Design tokens (shared/tokens/tokens.json): the only source for colour, type, spacing and sizes. Never copy a hex value from a screenshot.
  4. human-writer wins on any craft question (rhythm, closers, rule of three).
Citing rulesEach page has a stable URL and an id on every section heading, so agents can cite a rule as brand.ntwrk.com.au/colour/#rules.

Decided 5 Oct 2026This book is public: no client names, client logos, private report URLs or real report content. Examples use the fictional Example Co. and labelled example data. Private insight pages speak as “we”, never “I”. Field notes keep the “Written by Wes Fischer” byline. The wordmark is 800 everywhere, including the site header. Light --warning is #7A5C12; dark --mute is #868F87. The HTML deck template, with its shortcut bar, is the house format for NTWRK presentations.
